Military Intelligence before moving into Special Operations communications, where he deployed alongside Special Forces teams as well as oversaw the security of unclassified and classified NATO Special Operations networks across Afghanistan. He later provided executive communications support to the Commanding General and Command Sergeant Major of U.S. Army Special Operations Command. His military career also included assignments with the U.S. Army Cyber Protection Brigade and U.S. Central Command, where he led cybersecurity efforts supporting unclassified and classified networks across five countries. After retiring from the Army, Kenny continued supporting the Special Operations community within Naval Special Warfare cybersecurity. He now supports a U.S. Special Operations Command modernization effort focused on cybersecurity, risk management, and secure technology delivery. Kenny holds a B.S. in Cybersecurity and nearly 20 information technology and cybersecurity certifications, including CISSP and multiple GIAC certifications.
